The Door County Jazz Foundation is celebrating April as Jazz Appreciation Month, an annual celebration held every April to recognize the history, cultural impact, and ongoing influence of jazz music while highlighting jazz as a uniquely American art form with a significant role in cultural dialogue, creativity, and social change. As the presenter of the annual Door County Jazz Festival, the Door County Jazz Foundation (501c3) is fundraising throughout April to continue building on the inaugural festival year and creating a week of professional live jazz programming throughout the Door County peninsula in August 2026.
