DESCRIPTION:The Door County Jazz Foundation is celebrating April as Jazz Appreciation Month\, an annual celebration held every April to recognize the history\, cultural impact\, and ongoing influence of jazz music while highlighting jazz as a uniquely American art form with a significant role in cultural dialogue\, creativity\, and social change. As the presenter of the annual Door County Jazz Festival\, the Door County Jazz Foundation (501c3) is fundraising throughout April to continue building on the inaugural festival year and creating a week of professional live jazz programming throughout the Door County peninsula in August 2026. \n\nPlease consider a donation to the Door County Jazz Foundation (501c3). DESCRIPTION:The Miller Art Museum in downtown Sturgeon Bay presents the 52nd Annual Salon of Door County High School Art\, a vibrant showcase celebrating the creativity of talented young artists across the peninsula. \nThis long-running exhibition features more than 100 works in a variety of media from students representing Gibraltar\, Sevastopol\, Southern Door\, Sturgeon Bay\, and Washington Island High Schools. \nThe exhibit opens to the public on April 4\, 2026\, with a special reception honoring the artists on April 6 from 7:00–8:30 PM at the museum\, located inside the Door County Library. \nAdmission to both the exhibition and reception is free and open to the public.
