DESCRIPTION:The Miller Art Museum in downtown Sturgeon Bay presents the 52nd Annual Salon of Door County High School Art\, a vibrant showcase celebrating the creativity of talented young artists across the peninsula. \nThis long-running exhibition features more than 100 works in a variety of media from students representing Gibraltar\, Sevastopol\, Southern Door\, Sturgeon Bay\, and Washington Island High Schools. \nThe exhibit opens to the public on April 4\, 2026\, with a special reception honoring the artists on April 6 from 7:00–8:30 PM at the museum\, located inside the Door County Library. \nAdmission to both the exhibition and reception is free and open to the public.

DESCRIPTION:The Clearing in Ellison is once again offering FREE docent led hikes starting on Saturday May 2 and are every Saturday and Sunday through October starting at 1pm.  Hikes are about 2 hours and there is no need to register. Interested folks can just meet at the Jensen Visitor Center at 1pm.  The Jensen Visitor center bookstore also begins weekend hours Saturday 8:30-4 and Sunday 12-4 on May 2.
